Our Story
Agriturismo Valdibarco was born in 2001 from Giuliano’s passion for cooking and the shared dream with his wife Alessandra of creating something authentic, starting from the family’s small farm. Located in the peaceful and green area of Valdibarco, in Valle di Castelgomberto (VI), the agriturismo stands where there once was a simple home with a small farm. Over time, that idea became a welcoming reality, blending flavours, landscapes and traditions.
More than twenty years later, the family-run spirit continues with the same care and dedication, now supported by a close-knit team. The old house walls are still standing, but everything around has grown and evolved: the new cellar and the well-kept outdoor spaces — panoramic and inviting — make the agriturismo a favourite for those who love authenticity.
Our cuisine
The kitchen is the beating heart of Agriturismo Valdibarco. Here, Giuliano brings his passion to life with simple, genuine dishes deeply rooted in the local territory. Completing the experience are Alessandra’s desserts: authentic, homemade, and full of memories.

Our menu includes oven-roasted duck, handmade tagliolini with pigeon, and fresh gnocchi — all telling a story that’s renewed every day.
Among our signature dishes: pumpkin and truffle risotto and our duck - both awarded by Il Giornale di Vicenza - bigoli all’anatra, nettle tagliolini with squab sauce, and traditional baked dishes that revive the harmony of Veneto’s culinary heritage.
Every meal is served in our welcoming dining room (up to 60 guests), or outside, on sunny days, in the beautiful green setting surrounding the agriturismo.

What makes us special
Valdibarco is more than just cuisine. It’s also a poultry farm, where we produce top-quality raw ingredients, served in unique and traditional tastings.
Alongside our house-made cured meats, we carefully tend our vineyards, producing two wines: a full-bodied Cabernet and a sparkling Garganega Bianco. From our olive trees, we make an intense, aromatic extra virgin olive oil.
Every ingredient on your plate has a clear, traceable origin and is strictly zero-kilometre — the result of our daily work in the fields, the cellar, and at Avicola Etrelli.

Nature and Trails
The agriturismo is surrounded by a landscape full of scenic trails. We’ve mapped several routes for walking or cycling, suitable for all experience levels.
